I'm passionate about all things tech, from the functional, technical and creative, I made the choice to transition into software engineering as I like to build things that have a purpose and solve challenges, of which coding pushes me to do exactly that.

With experience spanning brand marketing communications, digital marketing, social media, creative direction and project management, I bring a broad range of skills that help me to look at the 'big-picture' whilst also being able to look under the hood to develop code.

With a background spanning marketing communications working with global brands including Moët & Chandon, Lacoste, Sydney Opera House and David Jones, I'm following my passion for tech and software development, on a path of continuous learning and to build upon my skillset.

Working as part of a team, my role is focused on front end development for the Sydney Opera House, a World Heritage-listed masterpiece of ‘human creative genius’ that belongs to all Australians. It is the Country’s number one tourist destination and its busiest performing arts centre, welcoming more than 10.9 million visitors a year on site and hosting more than 1,800 performances attended by more than 1.4 million people. Deloitte has estimated the total cultural and iconic value of the Sydney Opera House to Australia at $6.2 billion.

MullenLowe Profero

Working within a globally networked, full service digital agency, my role is part of a front end development team that builds, maintain and support ongoing projects specifically looking after the websites of one of the world’s largest brands. This includes working with version control tools on a day-to-day basis as well as working closely with lead developers on issue resolution, cross browser compatibility and accessibility.

In an immersive environment, I learnt JavaScript, Ruby, HTML5 and CSS3 languages, frameworks Rails and React as well as functional object oriented programming concepts. I worked on both individual and group projects to deliver a range of web applications based on my learnings.

David Jones

David Jones Limited

I managed integrated marketing campaigns for this prestigious multi-channel retailer including digital, social, e-commerce, catalogue and print across fashion, home and beauty, supporting commercial initiatives. This included using SalesForce for campaign management, Basecamp for project management and HootSuite for social media.
